Sensei Arashiro, 7th dan and Pan American Chief Instructor of the Ryuei Ryu Karate Organization was born in Okinawa and started his karate training in 1968 under Nakaima Kenko, grandson of Ryuei Ryu founder Nakaima Norisato. He immigrated to the United States in 1979 and currently teaches at his dojo in San Diego.
